自2019年首届“碰撞与交汇：全球视野下的中国音乐当代研究国际学术研讨会”举办以来，该会议业已成为传播中国音乐文化、展现中外当代音乐研究最新成果、促进国际音乐学术交流、持续推动海内外学者关注和研究中国音乐文化的重要平台。
在前两届成功举办的基础上，经研究决定，第三届“碰撞与交汇：全球视野下的中国音乐当代研究国际学术研讨会”将于2023年10月20-23日在中国北京举行。
本届会议由中央音乐学院主办，教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地中央音乐学院音乐学研究所、中国文艺评论（中央音乐学院）基地承办，中国音乐研究欧洲基金会(European Foundation for Chinese Music Research)及其所属《磬》（CHIME）杂志、德国希尔德斯海姆大学/汉诺威音乐戏剧与媒体大学世界音乐研究中心(Center for World Music of the University of Hildesheim / the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover）协办。现将有关事项通知如下。

二、参会报名材料提交
1.中英文发言摘要(300字以内)；
2.中英文个人简介(200字以内),含个人基本信息、工作机构、研究领域和代表性成果；
3.相关材料请于2023年6月15日前，发送至: yyxyjs@ccom.edu.cn；
4.入选名单将于2023年7月15日前发布。
三、会务安排
入选名单公布后，组委会将向参会代表寄送邀请函。按照国际会议惯例，参会人员的差旅费、住宿费自理。正式参会代表餐费由会议组委会承担，非正式参会代表餐费自理。
会议未尽事宜，另行公布。
第三届“碰撞与交汇：全球视野下的中国音乐当代研究国际学术研讨会”将继续聚焦中国传统音乐、中国当代音乐、中外音乐交流、全球文化流动中的音乐，展示中外学者最新研究成果；继续坚持跨学科、多视角、开放性的办会理念，为推动中国音乐文化的发展献力。
Contrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: The 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective
Conference Notice
Since the first Contrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective was held in 2019, the conference has become an important platform for spreading Chinese musical culture, displaying latest research results of Chinese and Western contemporary music, encouraging international music academic exchanges, and promoting scholars to pay attention to and study Chinese music culture.
Based on the successful holding of the previous two sessions, “Contrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective” will be held in Beijing, China on October 20-23, 2023.
This conference is presented by the Central Conservatory of Music, and undertaken by the Institute of Musicology of the Central Conservatory of Music, China Literature and Art Review (Central Conservatory of Music) Base. The conference is co-organized by the European Foundation for Chinese Music Research and its affiliated journal CHIME, the Center for World Music of the University of Hildesheim / the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover. 1.Speech summary in Chinese and English (within 300 words)
2.Biography in Chinese and English (within 200 words), including personal information, current institution, research fields, and representative achievements

4.The shortlist will be announced before July 15, 2023.
Conference arrangements
After the announcement of the shortlist, the organizing committee will send an invitation letter to the participants. According to the international conference practice, the travel and accommodation expenses of the participants shall be borne by themselves. The conference organizing committee will cover meal expenses for the formal participants, while the informal participants are not included.
Any uncovered matters will be announced separately.
“Contrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: The 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective” will keep focusing on traditional Chinese music, contemporary Chinese music, music exchanges between China and western countries, music in global cultural flows and the latest research results of Chinese and foreign scholars. And continue to adhere to the concept of interdisciplinary, multi-perspective, and openness, and contribute to the development of Chinese music culture.
